How points work
A new round of five questions opens every day at midnight IST, and everyone plays the same one. Being close still earns points.
Each round
Each question scores up to 100. Later questions are harder and count more: ×1, ×1, ×2, ×3, ×3. The best possible round is 1,000.
Each kind of question
- Drop a pin on the map
- Full points within 10 km on the India map (50 km on the world map), then fewer the further away your pin is.
- Swipe to the year
- Full points within 2 years, then fewer for each year further out.
- Slide to the number
- Full points within 5% of the answer, then fewer the further off you are.
- Tap to put in order
- Points for every pair of items you put the right way round. All in order is 100.
- Match the pairs
- Points for each pair you match. No marks lost for a wrong pair.
- Pick on a scale
- 100 for the exact step, 50 one step away, 20 two steps away.
- Prelims-style statements
- Prelims marking: +100 for the right option, -33 for a wrong one, 0 if you skip.
Leaderboard and streaks
Only today's round counts. Ties go to the player who finished faster. Sign up to put your name on the board and keep a streak: finish every day to grow it.
